I photograph the parts of a place that are not the reason anyone went there: the service road, the stairwell, the waiting room, the lake in bad weather. Travel is the method. The photograph is what is left of a place once the view has been taken out of it.

我拍的是一个地方与所有人去那里的理由无关的部分：辅路、楼梯间、等候区、坏天气里的湖。旅行是方法。照片是这个地方被拿走那个「景」之后剩下的东西。
