Series

The archive is filed by place, because a place is a fact. These five are not facts. They are the preoccupations the places have in common — water that keeps a second version of what is above it, light that somebody else put there, a surface that stops being an object and becomes a set of rules, one thing standing alone, and the structure that is left when the colour is taken out. Every photograph here also lives under the place it was made in, and links to it there.
