The Blue Mountains under cloud, and I did not see the mountains. Mist spilling off a forested ridge into the valley, cloud coming down the far slopes, ridge behind ridge; a lichen-covered boulder on a summit, a stone prow above grey air, a rock tower with trees on its crown, a curved glass wall ribbed with black rails. It ends on wet asphalt with one tree in it, and then a last look down the lip of the rock shelf into grey.
云里的蓝山，山我没看见。雾从林脊上淌下来落进山谷，云从对面山坡上漫下来，一道岭叠着一道岭；山顶一块长满地衣的石头；一片石壁悬在灰白空气里；一座石头塔，顶上长着树；一面弧形玻璃墙，横着几道黑色框档。最后是一片湿柏油地，上面只有一棵树；再从石台边沿往下看一眼，下面全是灰的。
