A night street of wet flagstones and red lanterns; a pond holding whitewashed houses and dark tile roofs upside down, a wooded hill behind; a carved brick gateway over a stone path with jars along the wall; a look up between two high walls to a strip of blue sky. Whitewash, grey stone and water throughout.
黄山脚下，都落在村子里，没有一张在山上。夜里湿石板路上一串红灯笼；水塘把白墙黑瓦的屋子倒过来盛着，后面是山脊；砖雕门楼下面一条石板路，墙根摆着水缸；两墙夹出一条缝，抬头只剩一线蓝天。通篇是白墙、灰石和水汽。
