Phuket, 2017, from a trip that had almost nothing to show for it until now. A pale tiled walkway stepping across a lotus pond towards a dark doorway between white columns; a covered veranda floored in black-and-white checks, ceiling fans overhead. Then the weather: a pavilion on the shore in rain, the sea gone grey around a rocky point, cliffs standing over green water. Five frames. The sea is in three of them and the beach in none.
普吉岛，2017 年，一趟一直没拿出东西来的旅行。一条浅色石板路跨过荷塘，通向白柱之间的深色门洞；一条有顶的走廊，地上铺着黑白格子，头顶吊着风扇。然后是天气：雨里海边的亭子，礁石周围灰下去的海，站在绿水上的崖壁。五张。三张有海，一张沙滩也没有。
