Still water is the only surface that will hold a second version of what is above it, and the version is never the same shape as the thing. I have been photographing that disagreement for as long as I have been photographing anything: a lake that keeps the mountain but loses its colour, a flooded field that keeps the trees and loses their height. When there is no wind the water is more honest than the ground.
静水是唯一肯替上面的东西留一个副本的表面，而那个副本从来不是原来那个形状。我拍这件事拍了很久：湖留住了山，却没留住它的颜色；淹了水的田留住了树，却把树的高度弄丢了。没有风的时候，水比地面诚实。
